Well I could say that I have been doing this for 20+ years and that I have connections in Vegas or that I have the inside report on certain teams (like every pro capper claims), but that would be a lie. My path in sports betting started when I opened the books as a freshman in college. I took 5 and 10 dollar bets from dorm room students. I had no idea how to pick winners or handicap games but I learned very quickly how NOT to do it. I studied this hard for about a year and then started putting some action on certain games. If all my clients were on one side and I thought they had it wrong, I would place wagers on the opposite side to make more money. It worked too. Soon I quit taking action and decided just to bet on games. I learned quickly that if I did not know what everyone else was betting, I did not know how to pick a winner. I sat on the internet talking to various mentors and learned quickly how to track public bets, where the smart money is going, and which games to pounce on. This method has taken 3+ years to get right and I am making it better every week. Vegas has all the fancy hotels, restaurants, and shows, and it’s not because gamblers are winning. They have people in their casinos that get paid big time bucks to set lines and move them when they need to. I clearly see why they move them and when they move them and have the smarts and discipline to manage the bankroll and select the games with the highest probability of winning. I started out in this game making money off the losers and after full circle I am still doing the same thing. Instead of doing the opposite of what “know it all” college kids do, I am doing the opposite of what the losers and squares in Vegas are doing. But not all the time! You have to pick and choose your battles and I consistently see which ones I should fight and which ones I should run from. Rome was not built in a day and neither was Vegas. It’s a grind and I can grind it out with discipline better than almost anyone in this game. Bottom line, at the end of the month/quarter/year I come out on top and you should too. Honesty is rare in this business and most Handicappers concentrate on marketing more than their selections, not me. I spend my time breaking down games and not promoting my "Lock of the Year". I make my money from the books, that's why my prices are so low. If those professionals spent half of their time looking at games and not scamming people on the phones then they would actually have a good thing going, but they don't and I don't get it, maybe you feel the same. Anyways, have a good season and Good Luck!
